Magic ISO 4.5.0.113 is another addition to the shareware CD/DVD burning software tools available online. Published by MagicISO, it is a very small program with a file size of 1.7 MB, which makes it very easy to download for even the low bandwidth connection users. It comes with a trial period and after that you need to buy it for $30.
MagicISO has claimed this software to be a very a powerful tool for CD burning, CD/DVD image file editing and as a handy tool for CD/DVD Backup. With its use one can easily convert CD/DVD image formats to ISO/BIN/CUE. It is also known that this software is capable of converting BIN or any other format created by CD Burning Software such as Nero Burner, CloneCD, etc.

Magic ISO can be used to burn ISO files, DVD images of up to 10GB, make CD image files from CD/DVD ROM and burn CD/DVD image files to CD-R/RW. Besides this the software also provides many additional features like editing the volume serial numbers of image files, searching files & directories with wildcard characters on the CD/DVD images and the best option is that it supports CD burning on USB CD-R/RW Drivers. The software also provides supports for the ISO 9660 Level1/2/3 and Joliet extensions. MagicISO can even created bootable ISO files.
You can even embed this CD burner with the Windows Internet Explorer. The software interface supports drag & drop of files on to its panel, which acts helpful but still it doesn’t support the weakness of the bad user interface. The interface is a lot similar to Windows 98 and one would find it very difficult to use in today’s XP/Vista age. The main window provides access to very few important features and the most annoying link is the “Make boot image from floppy disk” link, I mean who does that now. The software is handy for those only interested in CD burning as it has disappointed when dealing with DVD burning. If the interface of the MagicISO is improved to a more useful and user-friendly way, only then one should consider trying the useful features that this CD burner provides. The most weird thing about its interface is that, though it provides bootable CD imaging as a feature, but still there is a highlighted Non-Bootable written on the main window.
