Quarterback Joe Flacco is definitely learning on the job and the defense has made sure its rookie signal-caller doesn’t have to do too much. Last Sunday against Cleveland, four-time All Pro Ed Reed returned an interception for a touchdown and former defensive rookie of the year Terrell Suggs had two sacks in Baltimore’s 28-10 victory.
When it all comes down to it, The Ravens keys to success are to turn quarterback Joe Flacco loose, slow the running game of the Steelers and get physical on defense. For the Steelers, it is imperative that they protect Ben Roethlisberger, take away the run of the Ravens and knowing the whereabouts of free safety Ed Reed, who has been a tiger at interceptions this year.
In the final analysis, playing in Pittsburgh is always tough and even though the Ravens are on a streak, the pundits give the Steelers at least a two touchdown victory for the game on the strength of their Special Teams and a stingy defense.
